Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Survivors find ways to cope with trauma in many ways. Working with survivors who use substances to cope with the trauma is not an easy task, but having the necessary tools will support effective advocacy. Come join in the conversation on how to support survivors to make safer choices when using substances and empower them to better manage their behaviors. Equally as important, helping them recognize how using substances gets in the way of reaching their goals. We will also talk about practical skills around deescalating situations within housing settings or support group
