We Choose Love! We Choose Democracy! We Choose Community!

We are working to create a world where everyone can live and love freely without fear. Inspired by the We Choose All of Us campaign by the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, this year’s conference will explore what it means to choose love, choose democracy, and to choose community. Join us to get inspired and learn how to put these big concepts into action in your daily life and work.

Art for Action: Incorporating Creative Expression into Survivor-Centered Advocacy

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

During a time of austerity and cutbacks, art is viewed more and more as a luxury for the few. But movements for social justice have long known that art and cultural work are necessary to give expression to our struggles, reach a broad base, and build power for change. This workshop will explore how local anti-violence programs can continue to engage art for action with an emphasis on storytelling & tactiles. Get ready to make some art!
