Engaging men and boys” is an important strategy in our prevention work, and many resources are directed at these efforts. But what about the girls, women and non-binary folks? Their voices should be at the forefront as social change leaders. In this workshop, we will explore how to engage all genders in your prevention efforts, and how to avoid the traditional “prevention” messages that can be problematic. Participants will learn about prevention education and community engagement efforts in local high schools that include both gender-specific and all-gender settings as case examples.
