Inspired by the We Choose All of Us campaign by the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, this year’s conference will explore what it means to choose love, choose democracy, and to choose community. Join us to get inspired and learn how to put these big concepts into action in your daily life and work.

Kelly Starr has worked in the violence against women movement for over 25 years and has had many different roles at WSCADV: Fatality Review Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, Director of Communications, Managing Director, and is currently the Director of Public Affairs. If you have a suggestion of what she should do next, please let her know! Chat with Kelly about strategic communications, messaging, working with the media, social media, and the Refuse To Abuse program with the Seattle Mariners. Favorite non-work topics to chat about include dogs, running, and sports. Prior to coming to WSCADV, Kelly was a community, shelter, and legal advocate at domestic violence programs in both Indiana and Washington, and worked with juvenile sex offenders. She was also a member of the adjunct faculty of Antioch University in Seattle, teaching the class Abusive Relationships as a part of their Masters in Psychology program.
