We Choose Love! We Choose Democracy! We Choose Community!

We are working to create a world where everyone can live and love freely without fear. Inspired by the We Choose All of Us campaign by the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, this year’s conference will explore what it means to choose love, choose democracy, and to choose community. Join us to get inspired and learn how to put these big concepts into action in your daily life and work.

Queer Network Program Organizer
Lourdez Velasco is a chamoru mother, queer nonbinary femme artist, poet and organizer, residing on occupied/stolen Duwamish/Coast Salish territory. They are the Queer Network Program Organizer with API Chaya to support the healing of QTBIPOC survivors! Lourdez creates art through mixed media, collage, poetry and dance. Their art centers survivorship, reclamation of CHamoru indigeneity, bodily autonomy, affirmations, and healing for queer and trans black, indigenous, people of color. They love practicing revolutionary parenting with their child, eating sweet treats and being a tender virgo. They/Them pronouns.
